Vietnam veterans with Type-II Diabetes are now eligible for disability compensation from the
Department of Veteran Affairs based on their personal exposure to Agent Orange and other
herbicides. Acting Secretary Hershel W. Gober announced his decision November 9, 2000
to add Diabetes to the list of presumptive diseases associated with herbicide exposure. For
