Recyclable Materials


 

All centers accept the following items for recycling;

-  Aluminum and steel cans

-  Plastic jugs and bottles

-  Newspapers and inserts

-  Cardboard

-  Magazines and books

-  Used oil filters

-  Used oil (must be poured into a collection tank on  
   site)  

-  Empty oil bottles

- Office Paper (White Only)

- Cooking Oil

- Antifreeze

- Athletic Shoes

-  Used tires

-  Lead-acid batteries

-  Scrap metal

-  White goods (refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers)

-  Yard trimmings (leaves, pine straw, limbs up to 6   
    inches in diameter and 8 feet in length  

-  Construction and demolition debris (C&D).  No 
   contractors will be allowed to use the drop off
   centers, they must bring their debris to the landfill
   for disposal.

-  Glass (brown, green, clear)

-  E-waste (computers and electronics)

-  Paints

No hazardous materials can be accepted at the drop off centers.
