Seniors can play Bingo at the Recreation Department on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 9:00 A.M.

Senior line dancing classes are held at the Recreation Department every Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.  Our group performs at various functions throughout the county.  If you are interested in learning more, please stop by and speak to our dancers.  For more information, please call (803) 943-2857 or you can come and visit us at the Hampton County Recreation Department.

On the first and third Thursday of each month the Hampton County Recreation Department sponsors a senior luncheon.

The first luncheon is hosted by Colleton Medical Center.  You must be a member of this group to attend the luncheons.  You are welcome to attend the first meeting to see if you wish to join.  The annual membership fee is $15.00 per year.

The second luncheon is hosted by Hampton Regional Medical Center.  There is no cost for this event and membership is not required.  Simply provide your name and address to the Recreation Department to be placed on the luncheon mailing list.  Once a month you will receive an invitation to this luncheon.  At this event you can have your blood pressure and sugar checked and hear good information from a guest speaker.

The Hampton County Recreation Department hosts the Senior Games once a year in May.  This event is held at the Recreation Department.  We are able to qualify any senior interested in participating in the State Senior Games.
