Department Functions

The Human Resources Department is a part of Hampton County Administration and is charged with the oversight of personnel activities for the County.

 


Support Services:

  • Receiving, processing and screening of job applications
  • Assist County Departments in the hiring of qualified employees
  • Develop and update position and classifications and descriptions
  • County compensation and benefit programs
  • Develop, revise, and assure compliance with Hampton County Personnel Policies
  • Compliance with State and Federal regulations pertaining to employment
