Department Functions
The Human Resources Department is a part of Hampton County Administration and is charged with the oversight of personnel activities for the County.
Support Services:
- Receiving, processing and screening of job applications
- Assist County Departments in the hiring of qualified employees
- Develop and update position and classifications and descriptions
- County compensation and benefit programs
- Develop, revise, and assure compliance with Hampton County Personnel Policies
- Compliance with State and Federal regulations pertaining to employment
