The Hampton County Assistance Fund has been established in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, a nonprofit organization.  The purpose of the Hampton County Assistance Fund is to assist with disaster relief efforts of those affected by the April 13, 2020 tornado in Hampton County.  The tornado took the lives of five people, injured approximately 50 more and damaged approximately 180 homes. 

Checks and/or money orders should be made out to “Community Foundation of the Lowcountry,” P.O. Box 23019, Hilton Head, South Carolina, 29925.  Please note on the check/money order that the funds are for the Hampton County Assistance Fund.
