Born in Marion, Virginia, Councilman Christopher Haulsee has been a resident of Hampton County for over 30 years. A graduate of Wade Hampton High School (1980), Haulsee also holds an Associate Degree in Horticulture from the Technical College of the Lowcountry (2000).
Married to the former Linda Thompson of Schenectady, New York since 1994, he and Linda have two sons, Jackson Currin and William Chase. Both attend public schools in Hampton District One.Councilman Haulsee is the owner of Hampton County “Good” Times, a monthly publication that promotes the good things about Hampton County as well as positive, useful information. Haulsee is also employed as an “on-air” personality by WDOG 93.5FM radio in Allendale, S.C. as host of his own afternoon radio show.
